Brand Strategy

We produced the overseas development plan of the Japanese knife brand "FEDECA". "FEDECA" is a brand developed by the well-established cutlery maker Kanzawa Works Co., Ltd. They offer a "wonderful life with cutlery" through unique products that fit the modern lifestyle. We designed the entire communication strategy related with the "Maison et Objet" in Paris, France, the world’s foremost interior and design trade fair. We work on a wide range of things, including spatial design and content production.

Video & Photos

We showed the story of this knife kit through photos and videos. We carefully selected various scenes involving the knife, from the manufacturing process in the factory to preparing a meal in the kitchen, always putting emphasis on the feeling of touch. Also, at the exhibition hall, many people walk while performing some other activity. Therefore, when creating the video, we tried to create strong series of images that would make the viewer stop to take a look regardless of which scene they see.

Space Produce

The exhibit booth perfectly reproduced a wooden kitchen counter with all of its warmth, based on the concept of "Customize us to be your best fit." In conjunction with the people from Kanzawa Works, we came up with this idea to show how these knives, made for the user’s liking, fit the users’ lifestyle as well as their hands. "Living with my beloved knife." We put proposals for a more pleasant lifestyle and the ease of conversation between producers and customers into a shared space where they could coexist.

Concept Making

The exhibition concept for "Maison et Objet" was "Customize us to be your best fit." This was inspired by this line's main product, the knife kit "It's my knife." This kit allows the user to scrape the handle of the knife into their preferred shape to create an original knife for their liking. In order to provide a bright and friendly impression, we chose the concept message so as to make the products themselves speak to the visitors.
